Center

There are two versions of the Center channel speaker, one full size, the other
slightly smaller for those with limited space. Both are designed with the same
midranges and tweeter as the HR-1 for a perfect tonal match, this match being the
only pathway to seamless panning of sounds from different directions. The
matching rear surround speakers currently under development will also use the
same driver compliment, providing what will be one of the most balanced and
accurate surround sound systems available.

  The full size unit measures 7.25"H x 23.5"W x 9.5"D, and uses the same woofer
as the main HR-1 speakers and surrounds for the best match. The standard unit
features a top-mounted tweeter like the HR-1, but we'll flush-mount it in the front
panel for you at no charge if this would suit your setup better.

The small center measures 6.75"H x 20"W x 9.5"D and features a slightly smaller,
slot loaded woofer, and flush mounts the tweeter in the front panel. This enables
close spacing on all sides (as in an enclosed shelf or stacked with
books/components) as the woofer fires out of the front panel slot. This unit, while
utilizing a different woofer, is tuned to match the HR-1's response to below where a
surround-sound system will cross over to it's subwoofer, while maintaining enough
bass response for a "large" setting on your surround processor.

  There are many different setups and many different needs when it comes to
center channel speakers, therefore we offer very affordable custom designs to fit
your decor/setup at little, and for smaller changes, sometimes no extra charge.
